Upside Sales is a Silicon Valley-based organization offering sales and business development services to startups and emerging high-technology companies worldwide. We have in-depth experience in promoting semiconductors, modules, sub-systems, silicon intellectual properties, and engineering services.
We understand the challenges that emerging companies are facing and have built an organization from ground up to help them overcome some of them. We know well that most emerging companies that we represent have very limited resources especially in sales support and application engineering. We have taken concrete steps to mitigate this limitation. To do this we make significant upfront investment to learn the details of products and services that we represent and more importantly their value proposition and differentiation. This helps us to minimize our reliance on our suppliers and helps them better utilize their sales support resources. Our goal is to be self-sufficient during the initial meetings with new potential customers.
We are equally vigilant about the needs of our end customers. We make every attempt to learn their needs, project time frames, and key factors that impacts their decisions. Our suppliers receive a detailed visit report from us after every customer encounter. This helps our suppliers to be perfectly aligned with the status of each opportunity.
We are accustomed to promoting products that are highly complex having long design cycles. We have developed effective tools for keeping track of a large number of “action items” and are diligent in addressing and closing each and every open issue.
